Justine Jacobson

Instructor, Michelle’s L’Ecole de Danse

With over 18 years of teaching experience at Michelle’s L’Ecole de Danse, Justine Jacobson brings a lifelong passion for dance and a strong technical foundation to every class she leads.

Originally from South Africa, Justine began her dance training at the age of five and studied the Cecchetti method of ballet through to age eighteen. After completing her Advanced Level 1 examination, she transitioned into student teaching while earning her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.

During her years in South Africa, Justine was a member of the Durban Dance Foundation, performing under several renowned choreographers. She was also accepted into the esteemed Natal Junior Dance Theatre, where she participated in multiple productions and expanded her experience across a variety of dance styles.

After completing her degree, Justine moved to the United States to broaden her horizons—and soon found a new home within a family deeply rooted in the world of dance. With her mother-in-law leading the studio for nearly five decades, Justine is honored to continue that tradition of excellence. She is also a member of the National Association of Dance and Affiliated Arts (NADAA), where she regularly attends conventions with students and has had the privilege of serving on the faculty at select events.

Justine’s teaching reflects her commitment to artistry, discipline, and inspiring the next generation of dancers.
